    Description

My mother-in-law, now in Heaven, made this sweet little shirt for my husband when he was a little boy in the 1950s. It is red plaid cotton with short sleeves; the edge of the sleeves are frayed, but we have a photo of my husband in this shirt, and it was a long-sleeved shirt at one time.
It has wide lapels on the collar, a front pocket, and 3 buttonholes/buttons. One black button is missing but could easily be replaced; and the top edge of one side of the pocket needs restitching. There are no holes or other tears as it has been kept for all these years in a box in the closet. Get it for your vintage boys' clothes collection OR for a retro look on a special little boy of yours.
